Ted Brown
Ted Brown has over forty years experience in municipal government and planning, both as a senior manager in a municipal setting and as a planning and management consultant. Ted grew up in Vancouver and Victoria and completed an honors degree in geography at the University of Victoria followed by post graduate studies in urban geography and planning at the University of Alberta. As Manager of City, Community and Downtown Planning for the City of Calgary, he was responsible for all land use policy planning for the city, including liaison with the Calgary Airport Authority. Upon returning to Vancouver Island Ted has established himself as an urban and regional planning consultant and has also participated in management and organizational reviews for a number of B.C. municipalities. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Planning Institute of British Columbia.
