Dixon has been a member of the Nanaimo Airport Commission Board of Directors since 2007. He was appointed by the Board to represent the Communities at Large. Dixon is a former Senior Military Officer and Vice President at Bombardier Aerospace Defence Services with approximately 40 years of experience in leadership, management and supervision within the Military and commercial sectors. He brings to the NAC his experience as both a military jet fighter pilot and former Airport Manager. He is connected with Senior Military and Government officials, most aerospace OEM’s and first, second and third tier defence industries with Canada, the USA and Europe.
