Getting Here

The Nanaimo Airport at Cassidy, located approximately 18 kms south of downtown Nanaimo, is the primary air transportation gateway for the central Vancouver Island area.

Travelling By Car

The Nanaimo Airport is located between Nanaimo and Ladysmith on the East side of the Trans Canada highway.

If you are coming South from Nanaimo or the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal, after passing the Cassidy Pub on your left, the Airport will be another mile on your left.

If you are coming North from Ladysmith after passing the Timberlands Rd. traffic lights, the Airport entrance will be your next entrance on your right.

If you are coming from the Duke Point Ferry Terminal follow the main road out and when you approach the Island Highway turn left heading south towards Victoria. The Nanaimo airport will be on your left after the Cassidy Pub on the left as well.

Bus Information

BC Transit 250-390-4351 dial "0" to speak with someone direct. www.busonline.ca This service only covers the Nanaimo area but by taking route 8 or 9 it can bring you south to the South Parkway Plaza which is only 10 km north of the Nanaimo airport. From this point you could take a taxi. The toll free number for BC Transit anywhere in BC is 1-877-607-4111 local 6200.
