Nanaimo Airport Catchment Area
The Nanaimo Airport's primary catchment area includes all those areas where YCD is the closest airport offering scheduled service. Besides the City of Nanaimo there are several large centers within the primary passenger catchment area. These include the cities of Duncan, Parksville, Port Alberni and towns of Tofino, Ucluelet, Qualicum and Ladysmith.
This area also includes the following districts:
Nanaimo Reg. District: Lantzville, Nanaimo, Parksville and Qualicum Beach.
Cowichan Valley Reg. District: Duncan, Ladysmith, Lake Cowichan and North Cowichan.
Alberni-Clayoquot Reg. District: Port Alberni, Tofino, Ucluelet and Bamfield.
