New Travel Options

April 1st, 2014 by laurie

Getting to the Pacific Northwest and beyond just got much easier thanks to Kenmore Air’s twice daily non-stop service to Boeing Field, in Seattle, from Nanaimo.

“This new service allows our gateway to expand to better service our region,” said Mike Hooper, President and CEO of the Nanaimo Airport Commission. “In under an hour passengers will be in Seattle for their day of business or ready to connect to SEA- TAC to continue their travels.”  Attracting a carrier to provide service to the Pacific Northwest has been a long term goal of the Airport.

Kenmore Air offers a short complimentary shuttle service between downtown Seattle’s Boeing Field and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. In fact passengers connecting with major-airline flights can book the shuttle online when they make their flight reservation.  “If you have been watching the news you know that air fares in the US are often much lower than in Canada,” shares Todd Banks, President and General Manager of Kenmore Air.  “With this new service, people will be able to take advantage of the discounts and connect through SEA-TAC with other air carriers to great destinations such as Palm Springs, Las Vegas, and Hawaii.”

Everyday fares start at $182US one way, including taxes and fuel surcharges.  Introductory fares of as little as $79US one-way, inclusive, are available on a limited number of seats on select flights for a limited time.
