Greenland Photo Wins Big At The Nanaimo Airport
After 10 weeks of hundreds of photos, and thousands of Facebook votes, the Nanaimo Airport has a winner in the Sunny Sam Photo Contest. “Sunny Sam Checking Out Mt. Sermitsiaq in Style – Nuuk- Greenland” by Nanaimo resident, Scott Ferguson, captured top spot in photo contest.

During the summer contest, central Island residents submitted more than 500 photos of their travels with the little bright yellow wobbler to win weekly prizes. The final round of voting, which was held in late September, determine the three semi finalist photos. Ferguson’s photo was selected grand prize winner by a panel of judges.
