Reliability
By removing the trees from the flight path, the NAC can now work with Transport Canada to initiate an instrumentation approach for the Nanaimo Airport. A navigation system will provide for increased reliability on arrivals and departures during winter weather.
The NAC will work with aviation experts to solve the long standing reliability issue during 2008. Please refer back to this site for updates.
