Runway Extension
In order to better serve the surrounding communities the NAC completed its due diligence steps during 2007 and completed the detailed plan in 2008 for a runway extension. This included reviews of the Economic, Environmental and Social implications of a longer runway (1,600 feet).
We have retained a Project Manager, who is working with a team of specialists on a number of issues, including;
- Detailed Site Plans
- Engineering Designs
- Environmental Mitigation Strategies
- Regulatory Requirements and Permits
The NAC also engaged Jacobs Consultancy to prepare a comprehensive business plan. The plan was divided into 3 base components; Market Forecasts for a 20-yr period, Infrastructure Requirements, and Cost Projections.
