Runway Extension

In order to better serve the surrounding communities the NAC has done its due diligence steps during 2007, and will complete in 2008 for a runway extension. This includes detailed reviews of the Economic, Environmental and Social implications of a longer runway (1,600 feet).

We have retained a Project Manager, who is working with a team of specialists on a number of issues, including;

  • Detailed Site Plans
  • Engineering Designs
  • Environmental Mitigation Strategies
  • Regulatory Requirements and Permits

The NAC also engaged Jacobs Consultancy to prepare a comprehensive business plan. The plan was divided into 3 base components; Market Forecasts for a 20-yr period, Infrastructure Requirements and Cost Projections.
