Terminal Expansion
Part of the overall business plan for the NAC, is to be able to accomodate an increase flow of passengers as the community grows. The terminal itself will likely need to be expanded. The Nanaimo Airport Terminal & Groundside Infrastructure Demand & Capacity Analysis (done by Jacobs Consultancy) defines the scope of the termiinal expansion, based on an increase to a maximum of 186 passengers per hour in 2025, from our current 42 passengers in 2006.
